Back in the days in our graphic design classes we were ask to do a poster titled “anatomy of an instrument”. I really love analoge synthesizers, even if I never owned one. It’s the sound which is full of joy, especially the process of tweaking the knobs. That’s why I tried to recreate these emotions in combination with typography. Building this image was feeling the vibe of these electric instruments.
This is basically a re-render of the project, made back in summer 2013. When I was setting up this portfolio site, I thought it could give it some fresh love. It was modeled in Cinema 4D and color grading was done in Adobe Lightroom using the
Nate Cam Presets. The original project from 2013 can be found on
